MACKINA WESTFALIA, S.A. Began its activities in 1955, dedicating itself to the design, manufacture and sale of machinery for mining, public works, waste management and industry in general.
In 1994 it became independent of the German company Westfalia Lünen, maintaining the technology, engineering and products commercialized to date.
To complement its supply capacity, in 1999 it acquired the engineering and products of the mining division of the prestigious Spanish firm TAIM TFG, becoming the leader of the Spanish market in the supply of equipment for underground mining.
In the year 2000 it start a collaboration with the company PROMINING, S.A. To complement its manufacturing lines, enhancing the engineering and construction of hydraulic and electrical equipment.
Mackina Westfalia designs, manufactures and certifies in notified bodies and CE mark a wide spectrum of equipment commonly used in underground mining, whether standard or "custom" equipment, maintaining itself as one of the few Spanish companies that continue to certify electrical equipment for Its use in potentially explosive atmospheres in group I, according to the ATEX directive. It has also developed various support equipment, both shields and individual mampostas, including individual mampostas of light alloy, having obtained the Atex certification for such equipment.
This same process is performed for the repair and technological adaptation of customer equipment or used equipment available in the market.
In the year 2013, the engineering and production ranges PROMINING have been acquired, maintaining collaboration agreements for the manufacture of equipment-
